Interested in performing alongside professional dancers? Colorado West Ballet is presenting "Cinderella" this Spring and you have a chance to be a part of it! We are looking to cast children with previous ballet experience between ages of 6+ in various children's roles for three performances at The Asteria Theatre, April 3rd 7p & April 4th 2&7p. Mandatory Dress Rehearsal will be held Thursday, April 2nd in evening.
In lieu of live auditions, we ask that all interested dancers complete this form instead no later than 1/21. If your dancer has not participated in a previous CO West Ballet production; please submit first arabesque photo, video clip demonstrating basic petite allegro (small jumps), turning combination, and grand allegro. You can also elect to schedule an "audition" class with an existing director. Please email admin@coloradowestballet.org for more information.
Casting and rehearsal schedule will be announced by Jan 26 with a non-refundable $125 performance fee that will be due by 1/31. The $125 includes a digital video link, covers all rehearsal practices, as well as the costume rental fee.
Rehearsals will begin the weekend of Feb 13 & 14th on Friday and/or Saturday. ALL DANCERS NEED TO BE AVAILABLE APRIL 2-4. More detailed schedules will go out shortly after casting. Please list any conflicts below for Friday/Saturdays starting now and through the show weekend, including over Spring Break.
