Absolute Dance opened it's doors in June 2007.  Since then we have had to expand our studio three times to accommodate our growing Dance Family.  Theresa Kahl Owner/Artistic Director had the vision to create a dance studio where kids not only come to class each week, but also have opportunities that are hard to come by in Western Colorado.  Dancers at Absolute Dance are technically strong, versatile, independent in thinking, and above all, love to dance!  At Absolute Dance, students gain confidence, self-esteem, leadership skills, a sense of self-worth, commitment, and team/independent work habits.   Absolute Dance has the most professional, diverse, passionate, and experienced faculty on the Western Slope!  

Absolute Dance Company is a leading performance company and school on the Western Slope. Our school houses over 100 different dance classes/ week to an average of over 800 students/ year. With momentum, we have produced multiple ballets and performances for our community and students including the holiday tradition of The Nutcracker. Our goal is to create more awareness and exposure to the beautiful artform of dance to our community through performance events and community outreach programs.

In the past, these events have reached over 5,000 spectators, 2500 through children’s outreach performances, and raised over $50,000 in ticket sales to help our growing company.
